Meet Dr. Victor Bruce, MD
Dr. Victor Bruce has dedicated his life to helping people live healthier, fuller lives. Born and raised in Accra, Ghana, his love for science began at age 11 when a simple chemistry set sparked a lifelong passion for discovery and healing. That passion carried him through top academic achievements at the University of Ghana, a scholarship to study Biochemistry in London, and eventually a medical degree (MD) from the University of Ghana Medical School.
In 1993, Dr. Bruce and his young family moved to the United States, where he completed a combined Internal Medicine & Pediatrics residency at Beth Israel/Mount Sinai Hospital in Newark, NJ. Serving as Chief Resident in his final year, he developed a reputation for both medical excellence and compassionate teaching.
Since 1998, Las Vegas has been his home. Over the years, Dr. Bruce has practiced in clinics, urgent care centers, hospitals, and mental health facilities. Today, he leads Ascension Medical Center, his private practice built on the belief that “The Best Wealth is Health.” His mission is not just to treat illness, but to empower patients through wellness, prevention, and education.
Known for his approachable teaching style, Dr. Bruce takes pride in making even complex health topics easy to understand. Patients value his clear guidance, attentive care, and the sense that they have a true partner in their health journey.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Bruce practices what he teaches. He maintains a personal wellness routine of daily workouts, yoga, meditation, and time in nature. He also enjoys golf, SCUBA diving, and lifelong learning — always striving to grow personally while helping others do the same.
